I received this book from a GoodReads First Reads giveaway. It was a solid well laid out plan for those of us who are freelance and don't fit into a traditional earnings category. Some of the info was obvious, but there were a lot of good tips for budgeting, investing, and tax write offs. It would be a good read for someone who was... A good introduction to personal finance for freelancers and the self-employed. However, it focused a little more on strategies for those with a lot credit card debt or overspending issues than I expected. Neither problem is an issue for me right now (and hopefully, not in the future).I was also surprised that they didn't address the... Finally! A text useful for the (poor schmucks?) among us who don't have that steady paycheck every week or two (or month). I've read too many books regarding budgeting and such, but they assume everybody gets paid the same times and roughly the same rates each time.
