And in the title story, an office worker with a devious mother has become obsessed with a certain mirror which he believes has begun to reflect a person who is not himself. These are stories that call into question our relationship with the natural world and the boundaries between one reality and another.

Also there stood an ironing board with a still hot iron on it that was burning a yellow shift, and there was, among several items that were not as noticeable to the woman, and yet were noticeable...
This is my own book. Even so it still cracks me up.
