Don't Look in the Mirror
A Young Adult book. This was an interesting twist to a book and concept although it is somewhat like a morality tale/urban legend...
Alice has always hated her appearance. So it's a very strange feeling when, looking in a mirror one day, she sees a more beautiful version of herself staring back! Even more surprising, the image begins speaking. Demanding to be called Alicia, the young woman in the mirror helps Alice get a sophisticated makeover--and a cute guy at school finally notices her. But what does Alicia want in return? It isn't very pretty, and Alice is soon fighting for her life.

More About Don't Look in the Mirror
I loved this book, it was so real-like. The main character was so like me (minus a few things) but i'm always catching myself looking in the mirror. Finding all the flaws, never seeing the good qualitites. I've grown out of it, like this character hopefully has after her lesson with unformed beings. I don't think she'll ever look at... This was an interesting twist to a book and concept although it is somewhat like a morality tale/urban legend combined with young adult fiction. I enjoyed Larry Weinberg's ability to get into the place of opening up a high school world to a girl who is all about her appearance. She doesn't know that within her mirror is a world of Unformed... Loved it as a kid.
