The Paris Secret is a true romantic thriller: love, passion and people who want to kill you. Yep. Thats it. This is a book that Ive had a hard time reviewing. I enjoyed reading it, I liked the idea and how it was expressed, I even liked the characters and the setting but at the end of the book I just felt like, Oh, well that was nice.... Paris, romance, and murder are an intoxicating mix.Setting: Paris - I want to go. The book was like a tour of Paris, the food, the sights, the atmosphere.Mystery: There was a lot going on- murders, the missing crucifix, a secret society. Henry did a good job holding it all together, keeping the suspense going. There definitely weren't... What started out as a "my fiance cheated on/dumped me and now I'm off to find myself in an exotic city" chiclit turned seamlessly into an Indiana Jones/DaVinci Code hybrid with just a pinch of the movie "Sister Act" tossed in.
